I'm Cedric MUTESA, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and working part-time as a software engineer.

I started down this path in 2021 at Rwanda Coding Academy, and it's only gotten more interesting from there.

Since then I've worked with Rwanda Ministry of Health, ReFeel, Global Kwik Koders, Zen, and PivotAccess Ltd. In whatever's left of my free time, I build and contribute to open-source software, mostly in the web tooling space. Some of it lives here.

Lately I've been getting pulled more into machine learning and maths. Honestly, traditional software engineering doesn't excite me the way it used to. The problems on the ML and maths side feel more interesting to sit with, and that's where most of my time has been going. It's part of why I picked AI over traditional CS for my degree.
